A little about me and my family...

My photo
My love of people, photography and the world began as a child. My family moved a lot and taking pictures was my way of remembering friends, capturing special places or moments and holding them close. Becoming a wife and a mother has always been a dream of mine and I count my blessings daily. I started this blog shortly after our daughter, Yaya joined our family through the blessing of adoption. Its purpose was to share pictures and stories about our life with family and friends. Later, it shared our adoption journey to our second daughter, Baby Bird as well. Now that our family is complete I like to think of it as our family’s journal or life book. I'm passionate about life, my family and preserving our history one snapshot at a time. The thing that amazes me most is the abundance of beauty God blesses us with every day and in the simplest ways if only we take the time to slow down and appreciate them.

Penny for your thoughts...

I have a lot on my mind these days but for some reason can't find a way to put my thoughts on "paper." I've even started several posts but none seem to convey what is really on my heart. Instead, I've decided to let you ask me some questions. I've seen a few other bloggers do this when they were in a writing funk and it was fun getting to know more about them. Now, tell me. Is there anything you would like to know? Any questions you may have asked and I forgot to answer? Any old posts you would like more info or follow-up on? I'll have to warn you, I'm not a fortune teller nor am I a miracle worker so keep these questions simple please. I do not have time or interest in solving the world's problems. Well, maybe I have the interest just not the right connections to do anything about it. LOL! Either way, I'll leave that job to the professionals like Lizzy, Lisa and Gramma! Looking forward to having you pick my brain. By the way, I have family coming to stay with us tomorrow through Thursday. I will answer as many questions each day as time and 6 added people in my home allow. ;) Disclosure...In case you are banking on that penny mentioned in my post title, you should know I have no money or intention of paying for your questions. The only token you will receive in return for your question(s) is a small but honest look into my life and my heart.

Ok, my turn!
First of all, sorry if you have mentioned the answers in previous posts, but I´m almost 50 so.....
1. Do you plan on adopting again?
2. Do you work outside of the house (job)?
3. If not, what kind of job did you have?
4. Do you always make your own pasta now that you´ve taken that class? :)
