A little about me and my family...

My photo
My love of people, photography and the world began as a child. My family moved a lot and taking pictures was my way of remembering friends, capturing special places or moments and holding them close. Becoming a wife and a mother has always been a dream of mine and I count my blessings daily. I started this blog shortly after our daughter, Yaya joined our family through the blessing of adoption. Its purpose was to share pictures and stories about our life with family and friends. Later, it shared our adoption journey to our second daughter, Baby Bird as well. Now that our family is complete I like to think of it as our family’s journal or life book. I'm passionate about life, my family and preserving our history one snapshot at a time. The thing that amazes me most is the abundance of beauty God blesses us with every day and in the simplest ways if only we take the time to slow down and appreciate them.

The Yellow Chicken and the Blonde Duck...

Please head on over to A Duck In Her Pond to read about The Yellow Chicken and Blonde Duck's 3rd date. Evidently there's a silver dove causing some trouble for our "love birds."
If you've missed out on how they met and their first two dates click below. As always, I want you to leave your comments here too. Let me/us know what you think of this story.
The adventures of the Fuzzy Duck & Yellow Chicken are written by The Blonde Duck & Heaven's Gift.

This is building into quite a saga. You will probably be getting movie contracts soon. Do not let them buy the rights for to cheap. Or would that be cheep?
Are you going to make it out here for Christmas? SeaTac is a mess today. Hopefully things will be better by tomorrow, but more snow is in the forcast so it is hard to say. Sure hope it does not mess up all of your travel plans.

Oh I just got my fabulous Secret Santa gift from you! I love it! Always need cardstock so you definitely hit the nail on the head with that! Thank you for all the 3-d stickers, so cute! I will be using those very soon! Also, thank you for the adorable snowflake ornament. It's really sweet! I hung it on our tree already. I put a post on my blog to share with everyone how awesome my package was!! Thank you!! Happy Holidays!

Since you have not posted for a few days, I am thinking you made it out to see the in-law's. Hope you are having a great Christmas and enjoying our White! With this weather we would have never been able to get together at all. Have fun and stay warm. Merry Christmas to everyone.
