Remember the plums from the entry "Change?" Well, they are ready and Boy oh Boy are they sweet and yummy.
YaYa begs for, "More Pums Please!" Here she is enjoying them as the juice drips down her chin, hands and chest. This is the life!!! Thankfully, we can hose her down in the pool after she's done devouring them. We cleaned up the back yard today.
Sadly I had to throw 5 1gallon ziplock bags of plums away because they had fallen to the ground and were rotting or being eaten by who knows what. YUCK!!! We have reached all that we can but keep trying to go for more. I guess the little basket above will have to keep us happy for awhile. Wish we could share them with you.

my mom used to make plum syrup from the plums in our backyard. i never liked maple syrup until i was an adult because of this.

Oh what fun memories you are making! Love the photos! Here is to fresh fruit that you don't have to go and buy! Wish we could do the same thing here! Maybe I will have to go to the farmer's market tomorrow and see if they have anything!?
