Monday night my grandparents arrived from MT. First thing after preschool Tuesday morning we headed to my mom's to spend the afternoon with them. My grandma baked her famous Powdered Sugar Balls and Yaya tried to help but didn't quite like the texture of the dough. Instead she decided to make her own cookies out of play dough. It was pretty sweet watching them work their magic in their kitchen's both real and imaginary.
Two of sweetest people in the whole world. This was a priceless moment I'll forever cherish.
Santa's little helper.
I've made almost 300 cards from my photos for gifts, sold about 60 of them and have an order or two pending the New Year. It's been a lot of fun putting them together and reminiscing over the places we've been.
Adoption update
We continue to wait to be chosen. Last week our profile was shown to a new mother but she chose another family. They now have a son and I know they must be rejoicing tonight. We are rejoicing with them. Please continue to keep all the women facing an uplanned pregnancy in your prayers this holiday season. I also ask for your continued prayers for our family and the many other's waiting for their precious baby to arrive.
Last but certainly not least, Monday night Yaya broke out in a terrible rash after dinner and her bath. I've narrowed it down to a possible soy allergy. Do you know how many products have soy in them? Almost everything including cake mixes, cream of mushroom soup and bubble gum. She's broken out 3 nights in a row with a red and terribly itchy rash all over her body accompanied by a small cough. Thankfully Benedryl has helped relieve the symptoms within a half hour. We had her tested for allergies yesterday and hope to have the results soon. Please keep her safety in your prayers. She was so brave and tough during the testing. She held out her arm and watched them draw the blood and didn't cry once. Such a brave little girl. The nurse told her, "That's you inside that little jar you know." and her jaw dropped with amazement.
I better go take the curlers of of our little princess's hair and help her get ready for her show.
Goodnight my friends!
Tonight is her school Christmas program. She's beside herself with excitement to be on stage with her classmates singing for all the mommies, daddies and Jesus.

In response to your earlier note, Frizzy, My move -out- went very well. The new computer is functioning and I'm functional on it :) ! But I'm not moved -into- the new one yet. Still have lots to do to get acquainted with the new machine and its quirks and new version of Windows and to set up my desk top and favorites, etc. Frizzy, I'm so glad to hear from you and to get your particular message... Big hug in return, KathY
