While the rest of the country continues to be buried under snow, signs of spring began popping up all around us. A few weeks ago, I noticed a row of bright yellow daffodils reaching toward the sky. The trees started budding over night as if God or Mother Nature had strung popcorn throughout the trees in colors of white and cotton candy pink.
Yesterday, while walking to the park with Yaya my senses were overwhelmed with the smell of tulip trees and cherry blossoms.
This old tree caught my attention with it's dark contrast against the white of the cherry blossoms and vibrant green field.
The cherry on top has to be watching Yaya blossom into the person God made her to be.

My second favorite season, the lead into SUMMER!!
I totally agree with the cherry on top. Couldn't be better!
can I say... I'm totally jealous... I'm sitting here watching it SNOW out my window... once again... the idea that Spring is around the corner is what keeps me going! :)
I am GREEN with eny!! It's snowing here today:-)
And what a yummy cherry it is, too.
This is just the post I needed to see to set my searching skills in motion. Love the cherry blossoms, and now I gotta find a cherry sagra!
Yeah, yeah...rub it in how beautiful it is there right now while all of us snow bunnies have to look at winter scenery for several more weeks yet:) It is pretty watching it snow, as it is right now, but I'm ready for some color! Great pics! The PARK...it will be quite some time before we have park weather around here...jealous, that sounds so fun! FYI, the girls' room and guest room are all in one right now since the crib will be in our room for a bit. So our former guest room was made bigger and is now the guest room and the girls room.
Oh I am so jealous. I am so ready for some spring....have awhile to wait yet though.
I love the old tree photo...so pretty!
Oh how pretty! And the cherry on top!
(Pouts.) I want blooming flowers.
It is just so beautiful there! Thanks for the gorgous pics. And Yaya certainly is a beautiful little girl!
We get 360 days of summer here and 4 days that are a bit cooler for winter and that's it. I would love to see all the trees bare and little buds peeking open. New life starting after the stark winter landscapes...
and your little cherry on top is certainly growing up beautifully.
that should be *5* days that are a bit cooler, otherwise we miss a whole day and that would be no fun at all.
