A little about me and my family...

My photo
My love of people, photography and the world began as a child. My family moved a lot and taking pictures was my way of remembering friends, capturing special places or moments and holding them close. Becoming a wife and a mother has always been a dream of mine and I count my blessings daily. I started this blog shortly after our daughter, Yaya joined our family through the blessing of adoption. Its purpose was to share pictures and stories about our life with family and friends. Later, it shared our adoption journey to our second daughter, Baby Bird as well. Now that our family is complete I like to think of it as our family’s journal or life book. I'm passionate about life, my family and preserving our history one snapshot at a time. The thing that amazes me most is the abundance of beauty God blesses us with every day and in the simplest ways if only we take the time to slow down and appreciate them.

Neurology Appointment Today

(This picture was taken last spring while Yaya said her bedtime prayers. I couldn't help but repost it again today.)
I appreciate any positive thoughts and prayers you can send my way regarding my neurology appointment today. It's going to be an hour long and it's scheduled for 9:00 A.M. Hopefully he'll be able to tell me something or at least do some tests that will give me answers soon. Thank everyone for your prayers and follow up questions of concern this past week. They mean sooo much!

A friendly suggestion? How about linking new posts on previous topics to those posts? I was intrigued about what was going on but had to keep scrolling and then I almost missed the discussion of Bell's palsy. If that is what it is, then you are in the company of many people. It seems to becoming more wide spread or perhaps only better known. My sister-in-law had it; I say "had" because it did go away (took a long time). I know several people who have recovered seemingly fully. I hope this happens to you, too, if that is what you have developed.

May God go to that neurology appointment with you!

I have a feeling it's past time there but I'm praying anyway. Darn time differences get so confusing... I'm pretty sure we are in the same day but what time I have no idea!!!

Yeeha! looks like it's only 5am there! I hope you are asleep and resting soundly as I pray for your tests before I head off to bed!

Wow! I dropped by to see how life was going for you and I see you are having Dr. visits. I too will be thinking about you and hope that you get a good report. Love that you are still blogging and sharing about your sweet family. I've missed being around the blog community for a number of months so hope to find that you are better soon! Blessings!

Oh my....I am frantically scrolling for an update, and cannot find one? Are things ok? I know I am late, but to me, it is never too late for prayer. Sending warm, happy thoughts your way!
