As of today, my parents have been married 36 years. Even more amazing is the fact that they've actually been together since they met in Jr. High. I think my dad said they've been together for 42 years total. (Bird and I think 9 years is a long-time.) Ha! We're so proud of them for being such good parents and role models. We know it wasn't always easy at times and we know we weren't always angels growing up. Right Bro? The perfect angles!? No matter what you stood by each other and you didn't give up on us nor on each other.
You should see these two. They act like teenagers who can't keep their hands off each other. When I was a teenager, I found their PDA more than a little embarrassing. Now, I couldn't be more happy for them. I love seeing that they love each other as much if not more now than the day they got married.

And your parents have always been my fave! Glad to hear they haven't changed --- they were like teenagers when WE were teenagers. I loved it then and I love it now!

Sadly, my parents divorced after 30 years of marriage. But, they do get along better now than they did during the last few years of being married to each other... so I guess that is something.
