A little about me and my family...

My photo
My love of people, photography and the world began as a child. My family moved a lot and taking pictures was my way of remembering friends, capturing special places or moments and holding them close. Becoming a wife and a mother has always been a dream of mine and I count my blessings daily. I started this blog shortly after our daughter, Yaya joined our family through the blessing of adoption. Its purpose was to share pictures and stories about our life with family and friends. Later, it shared our adoption journey to our second daughter, Baby Bird as well. Now that our family is complete I like to think of it as our family’s journal or life book. I'm passionate about life, my family and preserving our history one snapshot at a time. The thing that amazes me most is the abundance of beauty God blesses us with every day and in the simplest ways if only we take the time to slow down and appreciate them.

Along the River's Edge

Earlier in the week we decided to walk along the river's edge at sunset.  It had been a beautiful day without a cloud in the sky and Bird had some extra time so we couldn't pass up this opportunity.

Can you see the face of the bull in the first shot?  I didn't notice it until I was reviewing the pictures.  The waterline creates what looks like a profile shot of a bull.

I adore the second photo of my family walking hand in hand along the river's edge.  I hope and pray their relationship stays this close.  They absolutely adore one another and can't wait to spend time together.  When they're together only looks of complete joy can be seen on their faces.  Ok, I often see looks of mischief too if truth be told.  These two could get in a lot of trouble together.  Good trouble but TROUBLE none the less.

The last shot is a silouette of a crane standing at the river's edge.  He looked so magestic and at peace with the world around him I couldn't resist snapping his picture.  I think he enjoyed watching the sunset as much as we did.

Hi Frizzy
What amazing photos. That middle one is just precious!
I've been thinking of you ~ I hope you had a wonderful Christmas & New Year! We are still on summer holidays so are completely out of routine & my blogging is far behind ( plus we've been away on a holiday too).
Hope you have a wonderful day
Blessings

I don't see the bull but I am so bad at this stuff. Those ink blot pictures at the therapist office always look like butterflies to me:-) LOL.
