We kicked Halloween weekend off by attending Boo at the Zoo for our second year in a row. A ZOO IT WAS! That place was packed with tons of little monsters. The line to get in was a block and a half long for non-members. Luckily, we are members so our line and wait were quite a bit shorter.
Yaya road the Merry Go Round once but didn't really care to trick or treat for candy.
She had her sights set on dancing.
No haunted house, no haunted train ride and no snacks or candy for her.
All she wanted to do was dance the night away and that's exactly what she did.
The evening ended with her saying, "Momma, daddy I'm all done being a blutterfly. I am just going to be myself. I like myself." Any bets on how long that declaration lasted?
Til 10:00 A.M. Saturday morning when she had to put her costume on for the Birthday/Costume party she was invited to. What a fun day to have your birthday on. Conrad's family went all out with fun games like
Musical pumpkins (instead of chairs),
Pumpkin Toss (into a ghost's mouth),
Ghost hunt,
Pin the nose on the Pumpkin were just a few of the games they played.
It was a spooktacular birthday party from beginning to end.
The fun ended with trick or treating at the mall and then a yummy dinner at California Pizza kitchen with Nana.
When we asked Yaya what her favorite part of Halloween was she answered,
"All of it!"
Smart kid if you ask me.

Very cute! Love what she said about liking being herself :o)
Looks like you've had a great weekend! She certainly looked cute in her outfit and glasses!
And yes, the goat was really sweet. I think it was because I was giving her treats, but I'd like to think it was because of my sparkling personality. Right?
What a GREAT Halloween:-)
How cute is that beautiful butterfly!
I pray she can say that sentence as she gets into her teens "I like myself'... that's precious!
Very cute little butterfly! Seems like you had a lot of fun.
The cutest little butterfly I ever did see!!
You know what? Yaya makes me wish that I never had to grow up. She is indeed, one smart kid!
I love her butterfly costume - Ellie would love that as well! Dancing sounds like lots of fun & what a creative birthday party her friend had!

Blessings to you and your precious family, sweet friend.

yeah, we know we can swim in the u.s. but i'm hoping she can convince make-a-wish that it can't be done here. (is that selfish of me? well, yeah. i guess it is.)
