Have you heard about the The Red Envelope Project?
It's a peaceful way of educating President Obama of the # of lives lost due to abortion. What can you do to help? Send an empty red envelope to President Barack Obama. On the back, write the following message:
Warmly, [Unknown]
Before you judge me or become angry please click on my old post.
If you choose to participate the mailing address is included here:
President Barack Obama
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
Washington , D.C. 20500
In addition, you could send this website to every one of your friends who you think would send one too. I wish we could send 50 million red envelopes, one for every child who died before having a chance to live. Maybe it will change the heart of our new president.

Amen, girlfriend! I used to be prochoice too, until I really thought about it and realized that if that child wasn't meant to be, then God wouldn't have planned for it to be conceived. It kills my heart to think of all the women who could've became Mommies if adoption was chosen over abortion. Adoption is a selfless act and abortion is a selfish one, in my opinion. I really hope that somehow, we can start a movement that makes women realize that their baby deserves life. There's a great pregnancy resource center here in my town that I really need to go volunteer at. They're doing amazing things with young moms! Thanks for the address!
Your two links need the word project added. www.redenvelopeproject.org. I caused the confusion Frizzy with my suspected mis-spelling. Then I ended up, the second time, actually mis-spelling it. Sorry.
What a great way to encourage not just your president but anyone that comes across the project to re-think their position.
What a great idea - I will send one from Australia.
Have you seen this?

It may interest you and anyone else who feel strongly about this issue.
wow.. that's a powerful message to send
What a great idea!
Just recently Victoria passed laws that allow abortion. I feel like standing up & telling all the pollys that all the bushfire victims don't even amount to how many lives will be snuffed out by one abortion dr in one year.
Frizzy, hi,
I read over your October post, and I'm grateful for it, very moved by it. Our backgrounds are different in terms of our children, and my gratefulness comes from others' willingness, yours in this case, to share 'how things are,' and round out my world view, so to speak, and my sense of understanding.
As a side note, in that October post, I especially love your view of "being led" vs. "being left" in the wake of difficulty. That's a perspective that is mine now, too. Thank you.
I followed your lead and compiled some writings of mine into why I, too, am pro-life, for my 2/14 post. It's not my personal history, like yours is, but they are thoughts that have evolved through the course of my history. I invite you to read through it and offer me feedback on any of the ideas.
Our Lord's peace and clarity be with you, and Happy St. Valentine's Day to you, too.
Somehow I missed your original post on Pro Life/ Pro Choice. It was powerful.
I will be sending my envelope this week.
also I am going to link you to my blog so others can become aware.
