A little about me and my family...

My photo
My love of people, photography and the world began as a child. My family moved a lot and taking pictures was my way of remembering friends, capturing special places or moments and holding them close. Becoming a wife and a mother has always been a dream of mine and I count my blessings daily. I started this blog shortly after our daughter, Yaya joined our family through the blessing of adoption. Its purpose was to share pictures and stories about our life with family and friends. Later, it shared our adoption journey to our second daughter, Baby Bird as well. Now that our family is complete I like to think of it as our family’s journal or life book. I'm passionate about life, my family and preserving our history one snapshot at a time. The thing that amazes me most is the abundance of beauty God blesses us with every day and in the simplest ways if only we take the time to slow down and appreciate them.

Which One Of These Is Not Like The Other?

Once again I'm participating in Candid Carrie's Friday Foto Finish Fiesta and Katy Lyn's My Husband Rocks. If you like sharing pictures and stories about your husband/family be sure to check these bloggers out. Their followers post some fun pictures and stories too.
Today, I am challenging you all to find an item on my tree that doesn't belong.
In case the first picture was too far away here's a closer one.
Did you figure it out yet?
Yes, it's this ugly yellow toy chicken.
My husband, AKA Bird has always been playful. He hides objects around the house for me to find but doesn't tell me to look for them. A few such objects include these toy frogs, (Why he has/had them I'll never know.) Jack In The Box heads and now this toy chicken.
He knows I sense when something in the room is out of place right away. He gets a kick out of how quickly I notice his little hidden treasures. At first, it drove me NUTTY! Eventually, I decided it was fun and decided to play along. Now, when I find one of these "treasures" I move it to a new place. My husband rocks because he loves to make life fun.
Any suggestions where I should hide the chicken next?

How funny! I did think that splash of yellow looked a little bit out of place on your tree.

I could think of lots of places to hide it here at my house. Let us know where it ends up!

That's funny! Put it where it would surprise him - opening his underwear drawer - or in the bathroom closet...

Let us know where the yellow bird ends up!

The fuzzy duck from Tuesday likes the yellow chicken...

Funny! My husband has those frogs too. Seen one this morning by our lazy boy just sitting there. Hide the little chicken in his shoes or a pair of his socks. He'll get a surprise when he puts them on.

Make sure you let us know where you do hide it at.

Have a great weekend!
